Reversing Falls ST John NB

Has anyone ever gone on the Reversing Falls Jet Boat Rides in St Johns New Brunswick? We were going to do the Thrill Ride where you will get wet. However, the beginning of OCT may be tooo cold to be that wet. I'm thinking of changing to the Sightseeing Tour Boat instead. Any input???

I've never done this tour, although I have watched it from dry land.

I am pretty certain that some type of rainjacket is provided. That doesn't guarantee that it will keep you dry, though. I suggest dressing in layers, no cotton (I've heard it takes too long to dry), with a water repellent jacket as your top layer before donning the jackets they give you. And, bring a change of clothing.

By the way, I saw your ship, Explorer of the Seas, in Boston today. She sailed away about an hour ago.

I'm so excited....started packing already!
I changed the jetboat tour to the sightseeing tour. Although rain jackets are provided, they said we will get very wet...Being from Palm Beach- water and cold don't sit well with us Floridians. The last thing I'd want to do is get sick on a cruise!
The Boat/Sightseeing tour seems a better safe than sorry choice! We've don't the jet boat before in Niagara Falls Canada but it had a dome/glass covered top- the most awesome thing ever!
When will the leaves start changing....
