Hawaii rental cars

I am sailing NCL wind in May and was interested in renting cars in each port (Hilo, Nawiliwili, Lahaina, and Kona).

I contacted Budget by phone and was told that they do not offer any transportation to/from the rental car location. Others have told me that there were vans waiting for them when they came ashore.

Can anyone tell which rental car companies provide transportation between the port and the rental car office? Also, do I have to arrange to be picked up or are the shuttle vans automatically waiting in each port?

If I remember correctly, I used Avis - they were the only company that would verify rental in Kuhalui - and offer the next day rental in Lahaina.... There were vans from all of the rental car companies in the parking lot when we debarked in Kuhalui.... I don't know if they were all from pre-reserved customers, but they were willing to take anyone to the airport who wanted to go.
