Off the beaten path for lobster

Hi guys, going on a 9 day cruise on the Explorer ots,roundtrip out of New Jersey, in Oct to Canada/New England. Stops include Portland, Bar Harbor Maine, St John, Halifax and Boston, was wondering if any of you guys, know of great place for lobster and all the trimmings & etc? Would like to know, as I'm getting hungry at the moment, just thinking about it.

If you're in Boston, nothing's better than Legal Seafood. It's located directly accross from the New England Aquarium.

It's every where in Portland and Bar Harbor, I did 2 ship excursions that ended at a Lobster Bake....yum.

We are in Boston Harbour May, is Legal Seafood close for us to get too?

There is seafood everywhere in Portland and on any of those stops, it just depends on how much time you have at the ports of call. Also, it is a little off season to take advantage of the many great outdoor "lobstah" venues and some close after Labor Day. Portland Lobster Company is located in the Old Port on Commercial St on the water and offers all the usual with local beers on tap. DiMillo's has a floating restaurant on Commercial Street with full menus but is a little more expensive based on location. I'm sure that you will get lots of input from others that have been to the same ports as you and in early October.
We have been on the Explorer and its a great ship. Enjoy!
