Suitability of excursions for children

Im due to take the Greece & Eastern Med cruise in Aug which includes 1 day in Egypt. We want to do 1 of 2 trips to the pyramids. We have 3 children aged 8,5 and 20 mths and if anyone has done this trip would you say it was suitable or not for the children, given their ages, travel time from ship to locations, walking time etc?

Hi TNabi, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Sounds like a fantastic adventure you're getting ready to depart on. No one knows your children better than you do, as far as how restless they become and how easily they become bored or tired. Wish I could give you personal experience, but unfortunately, have not been on that itinerary. I'm going to move this to the Port Chat section since this really isn't about a particular ship.
