Boston Airport to Port

Does anyone know how far away the airport is to the Port and approximately what a taxi fare would be? Or is there a better transportation option?

Good question. I will be on a cruise leaving out of Boston in September and would like to know the same information. If you find out anything - please post it here, thanks.
