Has anyone been to Huatulco, Mexico? What is there to do there? Any suggestions for an excursion or what I should do while there? I'll have six hours here.
Huatulco is a beautifully clean and well manicured planned resort. You can easily enjoy the small port and town on your own and on foot. Or you can take a cab to one of the many beautiful resorts. My suggestion would be to just walk off the ship and see where your instincts take you. It is a very safe town also.
That's the one I did! I was under the impression that you didn't want to do ship excursions; or did you book that independently? Either way, you will love it--we did.
Yes, we loved it; first you sail on a large catamaran along the beautifully rugged coast line with its many bays and get a close look at the spectacular resorts that have built up there; then an air-conditioned coach ride along the coast for some beautiful panoramic views, a visit to a lovely cathedral, and finally . . . .you guessed it . . . .shopping!!
