Does anyone know how far it is from Gaido's motel and restaurant to the ship? Will we need to get a taxi to take us there? We've never been to Galveston. Thanks!

Hmmm, I don't know where Guido's is, but the pier is in the historic district quite a ways from the main part of Galveston. You will probably need a taxi to take you there, unless Guido's is in the historic district.
