has anyone been here? There is a 4 day on the Allure, but only port is Haiti....is it not a danger spot to be? What is there to do there??

The Allure is stopping at Labadee, Haiti which is Royal Caribbean's private stop. They have been going there for years and it is perfectly safe.

Labadee is a private peninsula where the only people are your fellow passengers and crew.
It's a beautiful beach day. There's snorkeling, a beach barbeque, water sports vehicles to rent, a zipline etc.
You can use your seapass cards for drinks, but make sure you bring cash if you want to shop in the little straw market.

I was there about 3 weeks ago. This is a good beach day port, whether you just want to relax on the beach, or try some excursions, such as the zip line, parasailing, snorkeling, etc. As stated, it's perfectly safe.

Thank you all, especially the photos. Looks nice and if all else....well I guess I can just spend the day touring that big beautiful ship I so want to go on....possibly in March...for now I am waiting for Feb for my Carnival Dream.

I haven't been there since the dock and zip line were put in so I guess I'll have to book an RCI cruise the next time. Its a great beach day there for sure.

No problem about posting the photos. Yes, Labadee is a great beach day. That was actually my first time there, but our Port and Shopping Guide said Labadee is probably his favorite port, especially now that the dock is in place. The dock is in a different location from where the ships used to anchor though, from what I'm told.

The zip line is expensive, but worth it in my opinion. They actually take you on a "training" or small zip line first, then take you up to the big one.
