Sending a gift

I saw in the gift catalogue that you can have a little snack, or flowers sent to the room..I want to do that for my friend who is going on the Grand Princes this fall. Would having it delivered the first night (the day they get on the ship) be okay? Or should I have it delivered on one of their sailing days? Or do I even have that option? Is there a note with it...I thought if it was on the day they arrive they might just think it's from the cruise-line or something.

I have gotten many cruise gifts. Most have been delivered on the first day of the cruise with a card. I have gotten flowers delivered during the cruise. You will need to know your friends booking number when sending gifts. Usually I call friends that work on the ship to be my gift deliver. There is info on the Princess Website to pre-order gifts. Be sure to give yourself enough time, as they have a cut-off for when you can order.

Well, how do I get the booking number without giving everything away? I know the date, name, ship and itinerary, isn't that enough? Any ideas?

From past experience without a booking number you are really out of luck.
