A co-worker of mine sailed out of New Orleans in October on NCL's Sun. He said they have spent mega bucks on the terminal and it was really in great shape. If you're booking the Golden to Rio, I'm sooooooo jealous. What a great itinerary. We've only sailed on the Sun class ships on Princess, and have truly loved the experience. Princess is my favorite, so far, I always feel welcome on board. We've booked the Emerald for next November and I'm really excited to try a new class ship. Ooops, sorry, I've strayed from New Orleans. Anyway, he took lots of pictures. The terminal looked brand new and the French Quarter looked like it was up and running again.
