I was wondering if anyonce knows if you can get bottled water with the soda card. We will be on a 7 day inside passage on the Golden and I'm not sure how much a soda card costs or how to find out how much it costs? I'm trying to anticipate some of the unseen costs. Can two people share a soda card?
Thanks,
Julie

The soda stamp, is around $6/pp per day. Unless you drink an awful lot of soda, I don't think it would be worth it. Bottled water is not included, but the water on board ship is probably more pure than the bottled water. If you want you could purchase a bottle, then fill it from the tap to take on shore. You cannot share your stamp. They will ask for your sign and sail card with your stamp on it each time you request a refill. I don't drink soda's very often, but I believe they are $1.50 a can, plus the 15% gratuity. They have ice tea, coffee, and punch available free of charge, plus juice in the morning is free. The unseen costs are alcoholic beverages, photographs, soda, bingo, casino, wine tasting (unless you're an Elite member), video arcade, the specialty restaurants, some ice cream (sundaes by the pool), extra tips, and the shops on board. We figure $100/day without the casino. Hope this helps.

OK so you probably need to drink at least 5 a day to make it worth while. Can you take your sodas back to your room?
Also does Princess let you buy bottles of spirits for your room and if so how much are they?

Yes, you may take your sodas to your cabin.

You may purchase bottles of spirits for your cabin. The prices range from $17.00 to $30.00 for a 375 ml bottle. Canned soft drinks and mixes are $10.75 for six.

Good day, the POP card is a great purchase. we went to Alaska last June and me and my wife both purchase this pop card and it was worth every cent. We have pop at dinner and lunch everyday and we always took a pop back to our room at night to have in case we needed a drink. We pay for a week as they only sold them on arrival day and after that you could not buy it anymore. Our dinner server got to know us and had the pop sitting at our table once we arrive for our meal.
