I was on the CP last in November and really enjoyed her. I have been on both the Grand and the Golden and prefer the Caribbean. The Movies Under the Stars wasn't as exciting as I had hoped it would be. They advertise that they show up to date movies but that wasn't the case when we were on it. However they do run them all day long and during the day it's kids movies like Shrek and The Wizard of Oz so that pool had basically all the children and we were able to enjoy the other one in peace.
We went to Sterlings Steakhouse - there were 8 of us on this cruise, and my own meal was a nightmare. (I never did get to actually eat an entrée.) But the other seven people really liked the food making us wish we had made a reservation for a second night there. We have all been to Sabatini's before so we skipped it this time. The early nights are a bit quiet on the ship unless you go to the casino - something we all enjoy, but once you get past 11pm Skywalkers disco really gets going and we had some great times up there.
We enjoyed our trip enough that we all just booked the Crown out of New York down to the Caribbean for her repositioning cruise this fall. From what I hear she will be a sister ship to the Caribbean with a few more dining options. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer them. Enjoy!
