We are going on the Caribean Princess in October. We are on the Caribe deck with a balcony at the back of the ship. Does anyone know if it is a covered deck? In pictures it looks like there is glass all the way to the top of the balcony...is this true? I would love to see any pictures of the ship. Thanks!
I'm also on the 10/14/06 cruise and I am on the Caribe deck also room 702 (?) I believe. I was told depending on the side of the ship you are on it would either be full or partial sun and that there is a partial covering over each balcony. Hope this helps.
JUST OFF THE CP YESTERDAY. OUR STATEROOM WAS ON THE BAJA DECK, ONE DECK ABOVE CARIBE. YOUR BALCONY WILL BE TOTALLY UNCOVERED. AS FOR THE GLASS UNDER WOOD RAILING, IT IS ABOUT 4' HIGH. THE PARTITIONS ON THE SIDES OF THE BALCONIES ARE FLOOR TO CEILING, WITH OPAQUE GLASS.
