In Juneau, walk into town and see Red Dog Saloon. We did the sea plane to Taku Lodge. Really enjoyed it. After lunch you can walk out into the over grown forest. Look for bears and "Some time Falls". Some times it has water and some times it doesn't.

In Skagway, the train ride up the old miner's path is the best. you will still have time to look around town when you come back
