I see my problem--I was looking at the 2007 schedule, not the 2008. Star Princess is replacing Sun Princess in 2008. But Star and Golden are sisters so what I said about Golden holds true for Star.

Good idea, you in the balcony and the teens across the hall. Several members here have tried that arrangement and it seems to work quite well. They won't be in the cabin enough to care that it's an inside and you will have a nice hideaway.

Although my husband and I aren't exactly teenagers, for the sake of saving (a lot of) money, we got my parents the balcony and got ourselves an interior. We figured we could sit in their balcony every now and then, and the $1,500 that's saved can be used for some interesting excursions. Dog sledding, anyone? :-)

Seriously, that was a very smart plan--so long as you can pry your parents off the balcony once in a while.

We are doing the same arrangement, only we are the ones in the balcony cabin and our niece and her husband are in the interior cabin. We're happy to share the balcony with them so that we can enjoy the beautiful scenery together. Family cruises are the best, enjoy!
