Speaking about food as an important thing on a cruise, i would agree.
But I cant agree about food on celebrity.
We have been on the Zenith in february in the Caribbean on a 14 days cruise, and the food was not as good as on all our RCCL cruises.
It was good in the dining room, but not in the buffet restaurant. But it never was excellent.
But I`ve heard its better on other Celebrity ships.

The quality of food is such a subjective topic. What one person loves, another will hate. It also has a lot to do with expectations. Personally, I enjoy the food on RC. On one Celebrity cruise I thought it was great, on another it was only mediocre.

Whether the food is great or medicore, it will still put 10 pounds on you. So enjoy the food when you eat it. Unless you enjoy losing it more!

I suggest the Caribbean Princess. We took the Eastern Caribbean cruise in Dec 04 and enjoyed ourselves very much. Even on the "days at sea" there was plenty of room for all without feeling over crowded. As Ms Social noted food is subjective but we have been on 3 Princess cruises and enjoyed to food on all of them. The personal choice dining was great.
