Connecting staterooms

I have been looking at the Princess brochures, but there is no indication that they have connecting rooms. I am cosidering a cruise on either the Star or Golden, but need 2 connecting rooms (one of them needs to be handicap). Is there a Princess expert that might know if this is an option on the ships I am considering?

Good question. From all deck plans I have seen it is not clear. Maybe you should call Princess and ask - then let all of us know.

If you need connecting staterooms, try the Coral Princess. The Grand class ships (such as star and golden) only connect thru tiny doors on balconies that you can have unlocked, with side by side balcony cabins. These are much too small for a w/c or even a heavy person to fit through.

There are no cabins with actual doors inside the rooms that open on that class ships, and no connecting handicapped cabins, which are very limited and don't have balconies.

The Coral princess does have some that connect inside the room, but these are not handicapped either. Not sure about Diamond/Sapphire ships.

Beach Girl, Thanks for the tip. But my mother really wants to do a New England cruise and I can only take a week off work, so our ships and options are limited. I guess we will just have to choose a different itinerary.

Does anyoe know WHY that class of Princess ship does NOT have any regular connecting staterooms? That seems like it would be important to families and they are missing the mark.
