The itinerary for this cruise: Rome, Monte Carlo, Florence, Naples, Santorini, Ephesus, Mykonos, Athens, Olympia, Corfu & Venice. If you have traveled to these ports, is there any advantage booking a cabin on one side, starboard or portside, as opposed to the other? Suggestions appreciated.
The only port on your itinerary where the side of the ship would make any difference is Venice. There is only one way in to Venice and St. Mark's Square will be on the starboard side as you sail in. Of course if you are on the portside you will see it as you sail away; but sailing into Venice is one of the great thrills of cruising and given a choice, I would rather be on the starboard side.
