We're taking my son on a cruise this summer - likely our last trip as a family (because of his age).

Because we're having to do this trip a little on the cheap we're in an inside room. They tell us three can be in these rooms but we've not seen photos of how they handle it. Someone told us that there is a fold-down bed over another bed. Is this accurate?

Some inside cabins have one fold-down and some have two. The two fold-downs look like bunk beds.

They may not show the pull-down in the open position but it will give you an idea. And there is a cabin diagram showing you where everything is.

Yes they do have fold downs. Last year I took my daughter on cruise then my sister wanted to go as well last minute. The cabin had the drop down bed. She wasn't real happy with it because she thought it was too narrow and a pain to get up and down. Should be no problem for a young man but I think three in the inside cabins is a little tight, not that much closet space and only one chair, so others have to sit on beds, closet is set up for two. It worked and we had a great time.
