Golden Princess 6/13

Im looking to go to the Southern Carr. on 6/13. Im lookin for any feed back on the Golden Princess oceanview cabins and if being in the middle of the ship is bad or just fine. I might book my cruise today but not sure what deck would be best ( leaning towards Emerald Deck). Also, what kind of shows are held on the ship and is the weather usually nice around June in the Carribean.

I'm going on the Golden in March, we have a balcony cabin on the baja deck near the rear. Will let you know all about it when we return!

We were on the Golden 2/7-2/14. We had a balcony cabin on Caribe (C612). I heard midship was a good location; the rocking motion is at a minimum.

Husband and I don't care for shows. We attended one, just to see what it was like. The singer was ok, but he was so 30 years ago that we left after 10 minutes (the 1970s.. been there, done that!). We much prefer to listen to music in the lounges, or dance to a combo. Shows consisted of singers, dancers, a magician and a comedian-juggler.

I've never been to the Caribbean in June, so I can't tell you what the weather was like. We went to the Eastern Caribbean. The temperatures were in the 80s and 90s.

Just got back from the Golden and if you want more detailed information, please read my review. But, we were on the Aloha deck in the middle and hit some major stormy weather and it was okay. I'm normally the one to get sick but my husband definitely felt the rocking motion.

The shows were TERRIBLE! I hate to say that but they really were. I LOVE going to the shows and was disappointed with every one of them except the magician. I was not impressed with Princess's shows at all - nothing in comparison to Royal Caribbeans shows.

The weather will be nice...you should have calm seas and it will be HOT. Probably mid 90's to 100's everyday. Take plenty of sunscreen!
