Last year we signed up for with the Princess
future cruise program while on board. The deal is that you leave a $100.00 deposit for a "future" cruise and use it within five years. The perk to doing this is an onboard ship credit up to $150.00 depending upon length of cruise. Our dealis for $50.00 onboard credit each for up to two people in the same cabin. My friend and I each purchased a package..each paid $100.00. At booking for this year's cruise (leaving tomorrow 8/10!!!) the $200.00 total was used our deposit for one stateroom. Now the question: Since we each put down an initial deposit last year and are in the same stateroom, do we receive $50.00eac in credit or $100.00 each in credit? Seems that if only one of us purchased the program last year and stayed in the same stateroom, each of us would get $50.00 anyway. Any thoughts?

Seems pretty simple; only the one who purchased the program is going to get the $50 credit. Why would the one who didn't purchase the program get the credit too?
You state your deal is for $50 onboard credit each--that's for each one that put up the $100 deposit; so your total credit is $50 each, or $100. . . . .unless I'm missing something here.
Well I don't like doing math when I am not working, as I do it all day long.
Without knowing the fine print, if it can be used in conjunction. I would use the one credit and get the $50 each. And save the other. But as the question is posed, it should be $100 each if you both used it.
Dwayne, I think the confusion is coming from his statement, "our deal is for $50.00 onboard credit each for up to two people in the same cabin". That does not mean they each get a $50.00 credit for one $100.00 deposit. There is only one $50.00 credit for each $100.00 deposit. They each made a $100.00 deposit so they each get a $50.00 credit.
His statement "seems that if only one of us purchased the program last year and stayed in the same stateroom, each of us would get $50.00 anyway" is incorrect.
