Baltic Cruise May 2005

We'll be doing a 10 day Baltic cruise on the Star Princees in May, 2005. My question is for anyone who has done it regarding tours and any tips and about currencies used in the various ports. Should I take specific currencies especially for St. Petersburg and Copenhagen as I believe they do not use the Euro there...do they shipd convert American$$ on board? What's the best way to go?

Yes, the ship's bank will convert currency. However, dollars are acceptd everywhere that you mentioned. In fact, you won't be able to possess rubles in Russia and dollars are favored by the vendors. Your best bet for exchange will be the ATMs located in every port.
