I know the coffee on Princess is not their strong point! How much are the coffee cards which, I believe, cover much better coffee and specialty coffee drinks, and what do they cover? Thanks!

Hi Ellie,
My husband just bought the prepaid coffee card, I believe it was $25.00 for 14 or 15 coffees. You can get lattes, mochas, etc. at certain bars only. I think there were 3 bars on our ship that accepted the card. Also, if you want regular coffee, at some bars they will charge you. You can always get regular coffee up at the buffet for no charge. Hope this helps. Where are you cruising to? |
It helps a lot! Thanks. We are cruising the Regal 15 day RT from LA to Hawaii. I know you can free coffee in the buffet, but it is not good at all (made from syrup I believe). I will be glad to purchase the card and get lattes at bars.

Have a great trip! I'd love to hear about your cruise to Hawaii. We just came back from Alaska and had a great time, my husband's first cruise. Now he wants to go to the Carribean.

SD Cruiser, we've just come off the Coral Princess. The coffee card was for 14 cappacinos/espressos/mochachinos and you saved $6 by purchasing the card. Please note that it excludes flavor shots and frozen/iced coffee drinks. These cards were good in the Patisserie, Dining rooms and buffet as the other bars didn't have espresso machines. Hope this helps and have a great cruise.

Thanks, joyceh, I will definitely purchase the coffee card.

My DH and I sailed on the Island rt to Hawaii last February. We packed some nice sized coffee mugs w/lids. Every morning we stopped at the coffee bar and had those mugs filled up. Then we could carry them around with us all morning and enjoy some wonderful coffee. I would highly recommend packing a mug w/lid from home if you are a "coffeeholic". http://images7.fotki.com/v142/photos...33/lol2-vi.gif
