Hi there, Is anyone going on the Diamond Princess to Alaska on Sept 6th from Anchorage to Vancouver????

I don't see anyone on our Master Roll Call who will be on your cruise. Have you been on Diamond Princess before? She's a beautiful ship...among my favorites. We also saw her when docked in Ketchikan a couple of weeks ago (we were on a different ship).

Hi Lisa,
No it will be my 2nd cruise, 1st on the Diamond Princess. I appreciate your looking into it for me. any tips for my upcoming trip? I'm sure it will be exciting no matter what. Just having trouble with clothes to bring due to the weather. I've read that it can be either cold or hot and I guess best thing to do is pack for both?

Hi kgallicchio, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Sure hope you have a wonderful cruise, she's a beautiful ship. We haven't sailed on her, but have sailed on 4 Princess ships. Each of them has been beautiful and clean. The best advice I can give for Alaska is layers and some type of rain protection. It can be hot and sunny or cold and rainy, it's very unpredictable. Be sure to bring lots of film or extra memory cards, you'll be taking tons of pictures Best wishes for a fantastic cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!
