If you are able to check in early, will they let you back off/on the ship again after you have been officially checked in? Say you check in at Noon and the ship sails at 5pm. At 2pm could you leave and go pick up something from your car or whatever if you wanted and then just walk back on with no hassles, bypassing other people checking in for the first time?
Also, I was wondering what size and how many pieces of luggage/bags they will let you carry onboard by yourself? Is it safe to assume that if I could carry it onboard a plane that I could carry it onboard the ship? I know with security nowdays they won't let you carry a large suitcase on yourself if you should be so inclined! (Sailing on Princess Dawn in February)
Thanks for everyone's help!

Carolsue,

Yes, you are able to disembark once you are checked in & have your cruise card.
Sometimes the lines are long coming back to the ship.

For luggage I always have 1 carry-on, 1 garment bag & 1 large suitcase.
You can carry on your own luggage if you can manage it.
Also, you really are not limited with hand carried items. Again,if you can carry it you are all set.

Hope you enjoy your cruise

Cathy
