Laundry facilities?

We are travelling on the Caribbean Princess to the Eastern Caribbean on May 13th. Does anyone know if they have laundry facilities on board? I have heard that some ships do.

There is a laundry room on every deck.
They have irons & ironing boards as well.

Princess ships usually have a laundry on the major cabin decks (not on Lido, for example, but on Aloha, Baja, Caribe, Dolphin, Emerald)

They alternate fore and aft locations so the closest one to your cabin may be on a deck above or below yours.

The deck with the mini-suites usually has the least used laundry room - fewer cabins, same size laundry.

You can use quarter tokens from the casino in the machines, and in the soap dispenser machines, too.

Do NOT try and do laundry on formal night day or the night before the end of the cruise. It is a madhouse in every laundry room.

Donah, You mentioned that we can use quarter tokens from the casino for the laundry machines. Do they also take regular quarters, and how much does it cost to run each machine?
We are sailing Sun Princess April 7-17. Any info on this ship?

The washer is $1.00 and the dryer is .50
soap is $1.00
There is a change machine in the laundry rooms, but make sure you have almost NEW bills. The machine spit out my bills everytime (I even ironed them flat!) - and a very nice fellow passenger who had just been to the purser's desk kindly exchanged a few singles for me.

There is no cost for the iron/board usage.

This is what I really like about Princes Cruises, they have laundry facilities. Celebrity does not. I took my own roll of quarters and a little bag of detergent. I did the wash late at night, hardly anybody there.
