I left my Sony camera at the cashier's office in the casino and am extremely upset since it contained, not only, my Ruby princess cruise pictures, but pictures of a recent trip to visit my new grandson and my daughter and other family members. I am heart broken since these pictures are not replaceable. I had 2 memory sticks and an extra battery and would be eternally grateful if someone would please return it. Please PM me with any information. Thank you.

Edited to remove email address.

Hi cscvp, welcome to Cruise-Chat! I assume you spoke to the folks at Princess. Did you notice this before or after you debarked? If it was after, you can call the main Princess number and they can take the report.

I removed your email address for your protection and sent you a private message. I doubt seriously that anyone on the board would have any information, but you never know. Someone may have been on your cruise and remember seeing it. What was your sailing date?

As suggested by Penny, if you haven't already, call Princess and tell them of the lost item. Besides that, there's not really much you can do I don't think. Hopefully someone will do the right thing if they find it. If they do, then if they don't come to the forum and see the thread, they have to somehow "track you down" for lack of a better term.

There are people out there that do things. Example, my sister's friend left her camera in a New York City taxi. The person that got in the cab found it, started looking through the pictures to see if there was any way to identify the owner, found one of her and her fiance at the time (now married) at the Rutgers Half Marathon, contacted the Rutgers Half marathon and gave the person the marathon number of her fiance (he was wearing his Marathon Number in the photo), and the Rutgers Half Marathon contacted him stating someone found something that belongs to him, and got it back.

That's an amazing story MCPayne, they're really lucky.

Yes, that was an amazing story. One thing I didn't make clear, in case you didn't figure it out. The camera was found by the passenger that got into the cab after her, and not the cab driver. The cab driver probably wouldn't have tried to track down the owner of the camera.
