Price adjustment

Hello,
Just to let you all know. I read something on here somewhere about how the cruiselines will sometimes refund the fare difference if the price goes down. Thank you so much for this tip! I called Princess yesterday and the price on our cabin had gone down $140 a person so we got a refund on our credit card! If I hadnt called I wouldnt have gotten the adjustment. We booked directly thru the cruise line so I made the call myself.

What is an OBC?

Onboard credit, meaning X dollars credited to your shipboard account.

Had the final payment been made yet? I'm in the same situation with a price reduction but we're very close to the sailing date.

Give them a call, they may just issue you a credit.

Yes, my final payment had been made. They couldnt give me an OBC (thanks for the explanation on that) but did apply the refund to my credit card. I called a few days ago to see if maybe there had been another reduction but they said the ship was sold out so there wouldnt be any more price reductions.
