Has anyone had a stateroom on the Lido Deck. Have reservations in April to Hawaii in stateroom L251. I am concerned about the noise factor from the pool area and also the Teen club is overhead. My TA assures me that this is a very good room and we should not be bothered by any noise. Appreciate any information you might have.

Welcome to Cruise-Chat. Your room on the Golden Princess looks like a good location. I don't see the teen center above you. I see the Beauty Parlor above you and below you is another cabin.

Hi Rubymarietuesday, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Congratulations on your up-coming cruise. Sure hope you enjoy Princess as much as we do, they're our favorite line, so far. Unless you sleep a good deal during the day, the pool area noise should be a total nonfactor. The pool closes at night, 10pm I believe. I believe the teen club closes at 11 or 12, if it were close to you. I looked on their website and saw what Cruise Fanatic stated. Below you is the Aloha deck, with cabin A251. Above you is the Sun deck with the Beauty Shop. Looks like a good location to me. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise! Please let us know how you enjoyed it when you return.

The teen center is above you on Sun Deck, but it is in the center of the ship; above you is the Beauty Salon, and they are a pretty quiet bunch.

And you are far enough forward that you should have no problem with noise from the pool area.

Thanks for the great information. Guess I should have more faith in my TA. Now to be patient until April. Can't wait.

Know what you mean: I'm doing the same cruise in October of next year. Be sure to let us know all about your cruise--I will be very interested.

I will be sure to let you know about the cruise. This is my first with Princess and also my first cruise to Hawaii. Looking forward to all the days at sea. Doesn't get anymore relaxing than that. Just give me a lawn chair, good book and the drink of the day.
