is there cell phone reception on the princess cruise lines? ....i have heard that there is no reception once you leave the port and sometimes not even on the islands....is this true? i have verizon service.

It seems to depend on which service you have and your location. We had no service at sea or in Mexico. We had service everywhere in Hawaii. We have Cingular (AT&T).
