We are going on the Star Princess in December and we have never sailed with more than the 2 of us. My husband's parents and sister will be going and will all be in one room. What are the 3rd person accomodations? They are looking at staying in a balcony room. Does the couch pull out into a bed or what?

I just did a Celebrity cruise to Mexico with my 2 children. I slept in the big bed with my daughter, and the son did the pullout couch. The pullout was extremely uncomfortable as the mattress was coils with a fabric covering. I had them put another pad on the mattress, still kind of lumpy. If the couch doesn't work, they might bring in a rollaway. All depends on how much room you have.

snickerd, what type of cabin are they staying in -- regular balcony or mini-suite? We had a regular balcony cabin on Caribe Deck and the third bed was an upper berth that pulled out from the ceiling. Our friends had a mini-suite and there was a sitting area with sofa bed.

At the time I posted this we didn't know, but they are going to be staying in a regular balcony on Caribe.
