Currency exchange

Hi - I'm new to cruising and leaving next week for short trip to South Pacific islands; Isle of Pines, Ouvea and Noumea. Do we need to take currency for these places or can we use Australian dollars, or convert on arrival? Thank you.

I don't know what currency these islands use, but you can always exchange currencies on the ship. It's usually more convenient to use a credit card for any large purchases or nice meals off the ship, and dollars (U.S. or Australian) for trinkets and tips.
