HI Vita,
Thanks so much for your vote - BUT, we have this AWESOME site here to utilize.
I am in no means an expert. But, do love to cruise & have experience to share.
Please do not think of yourself as a pest. This is why we are all here to get & share knowledge. ASK AWAY
Looks like Karen & Penny answered your questions.
Tipping could not be easier now. Taking it out automatically for me is so easy.
I was one who would figure out the basic tipping(recommended amounts) for the crew, add some extra cash for excellent service & put it aside in an envelope pre-cruise. This way I had it ready to divide up & put in envelopes for the last night.
I will again stress that tips are how you can thank your crew for a job well done.
With the auto-tipping you are able to adjust amounts if needed.
I am not a casino person myself.
Massages are nice, but, can be pricey. I can tell you I may want to try one in Sanctuary however. Just seems as if it would be awesome up there.
What a lovely surprise hearing from your son. GLad they are all enjoying their cruise.
As far as Red Hook - parking was $19 for the day plus tax. As far as NY prices go a good price. But, if you have the ability to leave your car at your daughter's it may be better for you.
In searing for an exact addresss for the pier I came up with: 70 Imlay Street
Brooklyn 11231

I'll keep you posted on my Crown Cruise plans.
Right now I am focused on preparations for my Greek Isles cruise - leaving Sunday for Venice.
Off to get dinner on the table now.
