duty free shopping at noumea

we are cruising in a couple of weeks over christmas & does anyone know of any good duty free shops in noumea, we dont go to vila other wise i'd shop there

just in case anyone is considering duty free shopping at nomeau there is three shops there but i only tried one, its about 5 blocks from the tourist information centre but i found them about the same price as the ship, you can get a map from the information centre

port vila is the place to duty shop, catch the shuttle bus into town & its the last duty free shop on the left
