Just wondering what type of weather would one experince if going to the caribbean at the end of Aug? Mostly rain do you think?

No, mostly sun with passing showers. Caribbean weather is mostly the same any day of the year except for slightly lower temps in the winter. A day in August will typically look like a day in July...like I am fixing to have over the next week.
