We are cruising on the Island Princess with two other couples. Our land tour begins 5/17/07 and the cruise begins 5/21.

We have not received our cruise documents in the mail yet. I called Princess yesterday and they said they were mailed on 3/16. I can understand one packet getting "lost in the mail", but three?

I am just wondering if anyone on cruise-chat is going on that cruise. If so, have you received your documents?

The Princess representative told me they would mail out new packets. We leave in 45 days and I am just anxious to receive the documents so I can do the "doc-dance"!!

I also was concerned about documents. We depart from Vancouver for our cruise on May 28th. I contacted my TA on Thursday. She said that she contacted Princess. Supposedly they put the documents in the mail to her on Wednesday. She said she should have them by the end of next week. I'll check with her then. It took forever for my passport to come in, now we are waiting on documents. Makes first time cruisers a little anxious!

Nadine M, did you book directly through Princess or with a travel agent? If you went through an agent the documents will go to the agency first, then they will check them and forward them to you.

I wouldn't worry; "mailed" to a big company isin't the same as "postmarked"; it just means the process was set in motion. I'd give it a few more days.

Be sure and let us know when they arrive--I want to do the "doc-dance" with you!

I would like so much to see you do that. Just 25 days untill you sail! I can't believe it's time to flip that calendar again!

f-mattox, we booked through Princess. They have been very nice to work with. We are used to RCCL and working with a TA, so I am kind of "winging it" with Princess.

I'm sure you are right--that the docs will arrive soon. I'll let you know when they do.
