I recently heard that when there is 4 people in a room, that the two twin bed are not allowed to be put together because it is a fire hazard. IS THIS REALLY TRUE? I can't beleive my husband and I would have to sleep apart. We were planning on a regular balcony room, where on child would have the bunk and the other would have the rollaway or in some rooms, the pull-out sofa.
Before we book I would really appreciate some help!! thanks |
Yes, it's true. I don't know if it's a fire hazard or just a general safety issue.
One option is to book a mini-suite. That way, you'll have the two beds that can be pushed together, and the kids can have a sofa bed in another section of the cabin. IMO, the standard balcony cabins would be very tight for 4 people. I can't even imagine where a rollaway would fit. |
Thanks Lisa! BUt I heard the sofa bed is not large enough to sleep two children. Princess it was a twin bed. My kids are 5. Do you think it would sleep both of the them?

I'm almost positive the sofa bed in the mini-suites makes into a double bed. And even if it dosen't, there is ample room for a roll-away.
