Hi everyone! New to the Princess board. Just wondering what the scoop is... are launching delays expected? My initial reaction is to RUN from a 3600 pax ship but the itinerary is great and the price can't be beat- plus, no airfare for me!

I haven't heard of any problems. When are you going on your cruise? We'll be on the Crown Princess July 20th.

September 21st. I think I was seriously WRONG about the number of passengers- I think it's 3080. I can live with that! I wish i could find more info about her but I guess that's to be expected. If you have any links to any info or photos I would appreciate them.

Here's a site I was looking at: http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/...cfm?ShipID=347. I also read that travel agents have a brochure about the deck design, not actual pictures, but the design layouts. She's suppose to be pretty close to the Caribbean Princess in design with a couple of changes in restaurants and a few suites. It will be exciting to see the real deal.

I am booked on the Crown for her repositioning in late October. I have seen the brochure that the travel agents have - it helps to have an agent in the family, and it isn't anything special at all. You can find out just as much looking at the Princess website. It's really full of her different itineraries and the same layout that is on the web. The only thing that I learned from it which I hadn't seen anywhere is that somewhere in her "Italian Piazza Style" atrium they will have a 'selection of fondues' in the evening. I can't wait for her to sail so we can start reading actual reviews and see real pictures.
