We set sail out of LA next Tuesday! I've never been on a 15 day cruise before.....will this cruise be mostly retired people? Any advise on the days at Sea---10 of the 15 are at sea!
any thoughts in General....can't wait to go!

Longer cruises like yours do draw an older crowd. The average younger worker doesn't have that much time off. Spring break is now over so it's not likely to have many children. Enjoy your days at sea. It's your opportunity to do as much as you want or as little.

Days at sea can be great. Think of the ship as a floating resort. There will be lots of activities planned if you wish, or sit by the pool and relax.

Get to the show lounge at least 30 minuted before the shows in order to get a seat. It does get crowded especially on the night of the first performances.

Treat yourself to a couple of Spa services on sea days (they're for guys too); a facial and a massage--you'll feel like a million bucks.

Thanks for the info.....question! If I have a suite on Princess....and I give them shirts to iron...will they do that free of charge....how long does it take for them to get them back to your suite. Is this an amenity to do ironing free of charge?

We did the 15 day on the Regal in August. Although I LOVED the Regal, your ship will have even more to do on sea days just by nature of its size. I want to say that though the Regal had, probably, less to do that your ship, I still enjoyed the sea days thoroughly and was never bored for a minute.

You're going to have a wonderful time. Bon Voyage. Here's wishing for the best of weather! Hope you enjoy Princess as much as we do! http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...on_biggrin.gif

kevin23, to answer your question, yes, laundry and dry cleaning services are complimentary for suite passengers. Service is "next day".

I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the Princess laundry service but the dry cleaning came out OK. They tend to shrink everything in the hot dryers. Also bring something to per treat the stains otherwise they'll still be there after washing.
