Cabin Location

We have booked cabin B734 on the Coral Princess. It is the last Balcony cabin right at the back of the ship. We have never stayed that far back. Please comment if it was a good selection or whether we will encounter more problems then had we booked a cabin in the middle of the ship . Thank you

Hello 5008 and welcome to cruise chat;
As long as you don't mind a little walking, there are no problems associated with being all the way aft. On Coral Princess and sister Island Princess just about everything is from midship forward.

If you crave peace and quiet you are in the right spot. The pool and open deck area one deck up from you is the most underutilized part of the ship--always quiet and plenty of deck chairs available.

We had a cabin back there on that deck for our Panama transit cruise on Coral earlier this year. There is no problem at all with being there. In fact Coral has a sheltered deck area at the stern on with loungers on baja deck. It is quiet as most of those with cabins further forward never find it. A great place to read or just watch the ships wash and daydream.

We had D734 on the Crown in July. It's a wonderful location because it's so quiet back there and the views are to die for! It's so cool to watch the ship backing in to a port and then leaving after. Watch how the ship moves sideways to get right up to the dock!

You'll also have a larger balcony because you're full aft. Enjoy your cruise.
