So I am cruising on Classic Southern Caribbean - Roundtrip San Juan cruise next week. We are porting at Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Thomas. We start and end in San Juan.

I am looking for the name of the ports or the name of the location where we will be getting of the ship.

Thanks for all of the info that I have already gathered on this site.

You wont port in Charolette Amalie in St. Thomas. Princess has built a new cruise terminal about 4 miles away from Charolette Amalie. It's Crown something or the other, can't remember the name, but you have to take a cab to go into town.

I'm not sure if it's 4 miles but an average person can walk it in about 30-35 minutes. Also Crown bay still doesn't have much in the way of shopping yet. As of last Feb there are only about 4 or 5 shops open for business & a few local merchants with tables set up. It's sort of disappointing. Princess must have gotten a great deal on docking at Crown Bay instead of Havensite. I think I remember the shuttle fare as $4 one way per person to get to Charolette Amalie.

RichC, you're so right, I must have been thinking of the 4 from the $4 taxi fare per person. I think they told us Princess had a 10 year lease on that dock. Costa used it as well when we went in December. Sorry for the incorrect mileage report
