I met Mr. Maxtone-Graham on a QE2 crossing in 2003, where he was a lecturer. His talks were even more outstanding than his written work, which is saying a lot. He is also quite personable -- I was honored to share conversation with him over tea one afternoon. If I were able to fit these cruises into my schedule, I'd book in a heartbeat.
