Weather in St Thomas?

Leaving for my cruise this Saturday...Caribbean Princess. I have been watching the weather reports and it does not look good for our stops.. St.Thomas or St.Martin. Has anyone been there recently it seems they have had alot of rain? Also would appreciate any other feedback on rainy weather what to do? I have been on 4 other cruises and never had to worry about rain.

Typically, the rain doesn't last all day. In the tropics, it rains a lot, but usually doesn't last long. We bought a couple of ponchos at Wal-Mart, they're thin and fold up into a 2x4x1/2" package. They were $.84/ea. and I found them in the sporting goods section. Unless there is lightning, water sports, shopping, and tours are usually not a problem. Enjoy your trip, I'll pray for sunshine for you.

We were on the CP week of 2/18 and we had great weather. On a scale from 1-10, it was a 14. Every day was brilliant sunshine 75-80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I too before our trip looked at all the weather stations online. the forecast was gloomy. You can't bet on that forecast. If it rains which I never experienced typically its a passing shower from what I've told. Have a great cruise, we did.

Just back from the Golden.
When I checked the weather online it showed rain all week.
We had AWESOME weather - no rain at all.
