Hi I think you emailed me. Sorry no pics but still looking. That was infact a very scary thing that happened and I am surprised that there is not more talk about it. Did you hear about the missing person?

Yup it certainly got our attention! We were on the balcony of our Lido deck stateroom and watched the pool spill overthe edge like a waterfall.Our camera fell against the railing as we did, broke the camera but we were okay. I just can't understand why the captain did not let us know first before he made the turn?

Does anyone know where I could send my letter regarding the Grand Pricess trip on Feb 4th to 11th. It wasn't just the turn that was a problem for us. They cancelled 3 excursions and disembarking was a disater especially once you got thru customs. I would like to send it to someone that won't just toss it in the round file.

My husband and I were on the Grand Princess on 2/4 in the Botticelli Dining Room when the ship took its turn for the worse. There are horro stories and pictures of the devastation on cruisecritic.com under "boards". I will also be sending a letter to Princess. Send your letter to Princess Cruises

I have also sent a letter to Princess. Not sure what it will do but I do feel we should somehow be compensated. I am so surprised that we were not made aware of the turrn before it happened. This leads me to believe that someone???screwed-up. Notice on the announcement the following MORNING that at no time was the ship in jeopardy, but what about the 2600 passengers, nothing was mentioned about us. Guess the Captain forgot he was carrying precious cargo, obviously his kids weren't on board up to their ankles in water thinking that the ship was sinking. I'm surprised not more people are remarking about this incredible journey. Did anyone hear about the person who went missing?
