We are going on the Amazon cruise April 7 to 19 and are required to have yellow fever vacinations. Malaria pills are also recommended as is a really good bug spray. Has anyone been lately; how bad are the mosquitos? Ange

Haven't been lately, but it's in the tropics and in a wet area. Mosquitos will be bad. Definitely take the medications & shots required, and lots of good mosquito repellant, as there are other diseases they can carry that don't have preventive medicines.
