We will be sailing out on the Crown Princess on 8/10 and so looking forward to it! We are looking for some mahjong players and also suggestions for things to do in Bermuda. We are waitlisted for the segway tour, so we want a backup. Thanks!
Hope you have a marvelous cruise. The only thing that I remember from Bermuda is Horseshoe Beach, it was beautiful, pink sand and amazing. You can always take the bus there, the fare is inexpensive, and the drivers will offer loads of suggestions. Best wishes!
We were there a couple of weeks ago on Princess. Get the bus/ferry day pass right as you get off at the port.
We took the ferry over to St. George and went to the Perfumery. We then took the bus and went to the Fantasy Cave (there's two: this one and Crystal Cave). After that we walked over to the Swizzle Inn for lunch (LOVE those Rum Swizzles), then took the bus to John Smith's Bay for a dip and some beach time before heading back to the ship. INCREDIBLE day.
John Smith's Bay is quiet. Mostly locals go there instead of the tourists so there's no "facilities" there but just a lovely almost private beach, pinkish sand and the clearest water you'll ever see.
