Getting back just in time for tax day. Hopefully you will have that taken care of before leaving. Maybe that is the reason you are leaving. Enjoy the cruise. Looks as if someone D611 will be getting a lot of room charges or knocks on the door.

Ever notice the number of Michiganders (gainians if you prefer) post on this chat. Is it because we like water so much or we've had it with winter? I used to like snow until I started teaching outside in it all day

While traveling it always appeared as if there are more people from Mi. Next are the condo commandos (cruises only) from Fl.

I think some of it is being from the Motor City area we are mobile, like to travel and are adventurous. We also enjoy taking vacations because of working 7 days a week plus 10 to 12 hours a day. Things are slowing down a little but it is still nice to get away.

Sometimes it is like buying a new car. You don't notice how many there are of the same style and color until you get one.

RIDGID, I hear you on the 10 to 12hour 7 day week. Yes I'm in public education (often thought of as short days and short work year, I wish that were true) I also have my own buisness, teach at a community college, do a newspaper column and occationally guest on a radio talk show. My wife also an educator has a similar schedule. Isn't crazy what we do just to float around the ocean for a week or so? And worth it I might add. Life is good
