I will have to check it out. You know Emeril is a great teacher but his recipes often lack detail. He is so personable and I know he worked very hard to get where he is.

There are three components I guess you could have in any order and quantity you desire! Gin, Vermouth, Olive! Extra dry for me please.

Showbiz got in his way. I remember seeing Emeril doing some Julia Child shows from the early 1990's and he was totally different. He gave great instructions on how to make recipes. I specifically recall him reviewing things twice while preparing some shrimp dish (etoufee I think).

Who would have thought a question about drinking water (in glasses--thank you Penny) could go on for two pages. Some serious thread drift going on here.

Actually I had the same thought (f-mattox, Master Cruiser), but water, adult beverages, and Food Network? I love how it flows, we will see where it goes!

How about the Travel Channel? They've done some great shows on Royal Caribbean ships. Wonder why Princess doesn't do one? I'd be more than happy to host it

After Princess' disaster on "America's Biggest Losers" they are probably not too anxious to venture into T.V. anytime soon.
That show was an embarrassment to everyone involved.

Must have been, I never saw it. However, I can be as perky as Samantha Brown. Not as young or good-looking, but can be perky

Penny, it was awful!
The point was suppose to be that you can go on a cruise, eat healthy, and even lose weight. What it turned out to be was half the participants being tossed off the ship at the first port because they couldn't follow a deck plan and find their significant others at certain points on the ship in a set time. So one person of each couple didn't get to go! Lots of shots of the tearful ones leaving the ship and the tearful ones that got to stay.
Some nice shots of Sapphire Princess, but as a PR stunt, a complete disaster.

Royal Caribbean has got some great PR going! Their commercials, promotions, Travel Channel, (thank you, Penny) Plus they have some pretty amazing ships that appeal to a broad spectrum of people.

"Perky Penny", huh?" But can you do Rachel Ray?
