guidelines for tipping?

Can someone tell me about what tipping is going to run for a 7 day alaska cruise, I have no idea, we just sailed last month on ncl and it was $10.00 per day per guest is this close?

I think Princess is still $10.00 per day per person also.

Actually, as of April this year, it was up to $10.50; $11.00 for suites and mini-suites.
