Last year about this time, I was planning a March cruise to Hawaii. There were several posts about sea conditions to be expected. Have a look at www.oceanweather.com. There is a doozie headed to the Big Island as we speak.I bet the waves are 25-30 deep.

We leave the 29th for Tahiti and board the Tahitian Princess on Sept 1st. We are to be at the Big Island on the 13th. We are praying the weather/seas calm down!

We are leaving LA for Hawaii on the Regal Princess day after tomorrow, and so we have been following information on Hurricane Flossie very closely.

SD Cruiser please keep us posted on your travels. Thus far it sounds like Hawaii is getting a lot of rain/flooding except for the earthquake. We wish you the best on your cruise.
